Carnival Breeze—5 Days at Sea

Tour de Mexico

Costa Maya Cruise Port | Chacchoben Mayan Ruins | Cozumel Island | Carnival Breeze |

Carnival Breeze engines starting as cruise departs Galveston port

After three intense days in Dallas and two “rest days” in Houston (which were anything but rest), it was time for something bigger.

Seventeen decks.
Floating city.
Carnival Breeze.

We departed from Galveston, one of the oldest ports in the United States. Boarding took time, but at 5 PM we were officially sailing toward the Gulf of Mexico.

Cabin Tip

Never book an inside cabin.
Even a small window is worth every dollar.

Our Three Favorite Spots

  • Main atrium—the social heartbeat of the ship

  • Deck 14—morning coffee with horizon views

  • Serenity Deck—adults only, peace, jacuzzi, no screaming kids

Drink Package—Worth It?

Yes. Absolutely.
15 drinks per day. Math wins.

Onboard Life

Buffet almost all day.
Bars open late.
Casino 24/7.
Live music, dance shows, Caribbean rhythms.

But the true highlight?

Sunrise at sea.

Not the bars.
Not the casino.
Just the horizon.

Costa Maya & Cozumel

Designed for cruise visitors, perfectly organized, and easy to explore.
But nothing replaces real exploration beyond duty-free zones.

Final Thoughts

We left tired.
Happy.
And slightly sunburned.

Carnival Breeze is not just a cruise.
It’s a floating experience.
